Exclases Group was an official partner of the 10th International Helicopter Industry Exhibition, HeliRussia 2017, held in Moscow from 25 to 27 May. The largest helicopter exhibition in Europe and Northern Asia, it was visited by over 12,000 people in its jubilee year.
At the event, Exclases Group presented three helicopters from Italian company Leonardo Helicopters (formerly AgustaWestland): lightweight helicopters AW109 GrandNew and AW119, and an intermediate multi-purpose AW139, assembled in Russia.
Within the framework of the HeliRussia 2017 business program, representatives of Exclases Group and Leonardo Helicopters held a number of important meetings and negotiations. The announcement by Leonardo Helicopters of the first delivery in Russia of the intermediate AW189 helicopter was quite an event in the business community.
The helicopter will be used for transport operations serving the oil and gas industry on Sakhalin Island. Exclases Group, as the exclusive distributor of Leonardo Helicopters in Russia and CIS countries, will provide delivery and after-sales support of the latest AW189, as well as training of pilots and technical personnel.
