Exclases Holdings presented two helicopters – AW109 and AW139 – at the 3rd International Helicopter Industry Exhibition, HeliRussia 2010, which took place from 20 to 22 May. This was the first time the AW139 was shown to a Russian audience.
Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation – Mr. Denis Manturov, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation – Mr. Valery Okulov, CEO of Oboronprom United Industrial Corporation – Mr. Andrei Reus, CEO of the Helicopter Industry Association – Mr. Mikhail Kazachkov, and other officials visited the company’s stand.
On the first day of the event, AgustaWestland and Oboronprom United Industrial Corporation signed up to a program to establish an Italian AW139 helicopter assembly center in Russia. Executive Director of AgustaWestland, Giuseppe Orsi, and CEO of Oboronprom United Industrial Corporation, Andrei Reus, put their signatures in the document.
