Signing of the fully-fledged partnership agreement between AgustaWestland and Russian Helicopters was one of the key events of the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition, HeliRussia 2008, held from 15 to 17 May.
The first stage of the partnership provides for delivery of AgustaWestland helicopters to Russia in the amount of about 500 million EUR, by 2012. The next stages provide for incorporation of joint ventures for maintenance of AgustaWestland helicopters in Russia, and the final stage provides for joint production of helicopters in Russia.
