At the 9th International Aviation and Space Salon, MAKS 2009, Exclases Group – the exclusive distributor of Italian company AgustaWestland in Russia and CIS countries – presented a VIP version of the twin-engine AW109 which had already been delivered to a Russian customer. Two more similar aircrafts will be sold in Russia in the coming months.
Products of the Italian company were met with great interest by MAKS 2009 participants, especially in light of the announcement that licensed assembly of Italian helicopters AW139 will be launched in Russia in 2012.
